Oslo (Part 1)

This summer I've been studying Norwegian in the University of Oslo for 1,5 months. First of all, it was a great educational experience, then I'm glad I've met people from all over the world with completely different traditions and third, it was really awesome to live in Oslo, been there not like a tourist but like a citizen. I'm not sure if I will ever have such a great opportunity to live in another city.
First part is about some tourist attractions which I find really Norwegian:

1)Stavkirke in the National museum and a typical old house

2)Viking's boat

3)Karl Johans gate

4)The Vigeland park

5)The Opera House

6)Aker Brygge (the most expensive and fashionable part of Oslo)

7)Some cute random houses

8)City Hall

9)Holmenkollen

 10)National gallery

11)Akershus

 12)Fairy tale museum

  1. I've been on the fence about wanting to visit Norway, but I have to say I'm officially convinced. I've always wanted to see a traditional Stavkirke... your photos are beautiful! I'm glad you had a good time there!

    Cheers,
    Kate

  2. I should say that it was a little bit boring in Oslo as I'm used to huge crowded Moscow, but the nature there is beyond perfect, especially in the western part of Norway (I've been there many years ago). So if you go there, you should really visit Bergen and see those amazing fjords.
