I've never been to NY, but I think that one in two Russians believe that this place looks like Brooklyn: red brick buildings, shabby walls, tubes and iron stairs.
The Red October is a former chocolate factory replaced with art galleries, restaurants, bars, night clubs, offices and even a design institute. It is sutuated on Bulchug island just in the centre of Moskva river, so sometimes you really feel like you are in another city. Lambada market and Helper's Bazar took place here, and, in fact, these pictures were taken 3 months ago, I was just too lazy to publish them.
i would have believed it was new york if you told me so! ;)
